Varsity Softball in Full Swing

Written by James Aiken on . Posted in Softball

Varsity softball is off and running. The girls participated in the Decatur Bulldog Bash on August 9th and 10th, played Lakeside at home on Monday, August 11th, and traveled to S. Gwinnett on Tuesday. Monday’s game was suspended because of weather with the Red Devils in the lead, and we hope to get that completed soon. The young team has shown considerable improvement in a short amount of time, and hopes to break into the win column tonight, August 14th, at Gainesville.

The JV team is looking for a few more players to complete their roster, and hopes to begin competition soon.

The coaches and parents have been working hard on our home facilities, and we now have a working scoreboard and 36 tons of fresh brick dust on our infield. Check the schedule and come out to support your Red Devils.
