Varsity Softball Topples Tucker

Written by James Aiken on . Posted in Softball

Varsity softball finished the week with a big win over Tucker. They got out to a seven run lead in the first and never looked back. Big hits from Antaniya Matthews, Kayla Cato, Nicole Gilkeson, Elizabeth Aiken contributed to the 19 run total.

Despite some tough hitters on the Tucker team, Kaia Alexander kept them at bay and got the win.
The win brought the record to 4 and 10 on the year, and a tough loss to Lovejoy earlier in the week put their region record at 1 and 1.

They next play on September 17th in a region game against Newton. Please come show your support for the Red Devils.
